DJ Funkmaster Flex, one of the most iconic hip-hop figures in the game, took to his Instagram this week to show off a video of himself on the operating table. Page Six says the producer was getting a liposuction procedure done.
Funkmaster Flex shouted out to “40dayreset” for helping him lose a lot of weight, around 40lbs. However, he said it took a long time for him to finally get liposuction surgery from Elite Body Sculpture to get rid of all of the hardest areas, including the lower stomach and on the back.
Funk Flex went on to say that he didn’t even have to go under anesthesia; he was awake for the entire procedure. DJ also shouted out to how great the staff was, asking one person if he saw all of the fat going “through the tube in real-time.”
Reportedly, DJ Funkmaster Flex also live-streamed the entire procedure. He’s a radio host on Hot 97. This wouldn’t be the first time someone in the hip-hop scene got liposuction.
As it was previously reported, Kanye West appeared on TMZ Live with the hosts and explained his thoughts on a number of things, including his support for Trump among other controversial topics.
Additionally, West shared that he got liposuction because he didn’t want them to make fun of him like they did to Rob Kardashian. As most know, Rob, the black sheep of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, has been in the headlines for his weight a number of times, including when he and Blac Chyna first split up.
Chyna had previously stated that she was one of the first to inspire him to lose weight, but he wound up putting it back on. This was right before Rob and Chyna’s relationship ended in flames.
Apparently, Kanye went under the knife for fat removal because he feared being excoriated in the press for his weight. Coincidentally, Kanye’s mother, Donda, actually died due to a faulty plastic surgery process. She was a college professor.
