You can participate in the Splatoon 3: Splatfest World Premiere demo and the game’s first official Splatfest on August 27 at 9 am PDT.
To take part, you must have a Nintendo Switch Online membership. You may download the trial from the eShop starting on August 18 and play some of its components on August 25, so you can practice before the big game.
Additionally, Nintendo has stated that Splatfests will now include three different teams instead of the two found in Splatoon and Splatoon 2, as opposed to those games.
In contrast to the two “idol” characters from the original two games, who each represented a separate team during Splatfests, Splatoon 3’s Deep Cut team comprises three characters named Frye, Shiver, and Big Man.
Players must select one of three teams in the Rock, Paper, Scissors mode of the Splatfest World Premiere.
Nintendo has stated that the event will include two segments. In the first, there will be typical 4v4 Turf War fights like in other Splatoon games.
But after a while, the Splatfest will change to a new Tricolor Turf War mode, in which all three teams compete against one another to take over as much of the stage as possible.
While the other teams attack from the flanks, the group currently in control of the Splatfest will begin in the center of the arena. On September 9, the third installment of the Splatoon video game franchise will debut.
Nintendo revealed plans to release an exclusive Splatoon 3-themed Nintendo Switch OLED console last month. On August 26, the Nintendo Switch OLED Splatoon 3 Edition console will go on sale for a suggested retail price of $359.99.
On the same day, a Splatoon 3 Switch Pro Controller (priced at $74.99) and a carrying case (priced at $24.99 for the game) will be available.
