The Borderlands 3 Bloody Harvest challenge starts its reign of terror today

Another year, another Halloween to experience. That means that the world of Borderlands 3 is about to get a tad more creepy. The Borderlands 3 Bloody Harvest event is currently live, and will last until November 5. Spooky rewards await Vault Hunters, with more missions for you to complete. All you need to do is look for Maurice, everyone’s favorite lizard living on the Sanctuary III. The reptile will task you to collect Hecktoplasm, which can be found from ghosts that only manifest when you defeat haunted enemies.

They are easy enough to spot, just find enemies with a certain green glow. These special foes now populate the many different areas of the game as part of the Borderlands 3 Bloody Harvest festivities. Once you build up a big enough supply, you can return to Maurice. The lizard will then open up the portal that leads to Heck, which is where you will be able to find the infamous Captain Haunt, the true target of your quest.

Within Heck, there will be plenty of loot to gather that’s scaled to your level. Better yet, most will have the Terror modifier attached to strike fear into your enemies’ hearts. There is also a new unique Legendary weapon waiting to be wielded.

Familiar haunts

Basically, if you played the event last year, this edition of Borderlands 3 Bloody Harvest will be very familiar. Go about killing special enemies, gather your Hecktoplasm, return to Maurice, and fight Captain Haunt. It is straightforward enough. There are also additional rewards for completing the Borderlands 3 Bloody Harvest challenge multiple times.
